Welcome to the Buymie Technologies Unlimited Company website, (and all pages attaching to and including this domain name as well as the domain) and our applications (each our "Platform").This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”)of the Platform. Please read these Termsand Conditions and the Buymie Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy") carefully before using the Platform. For more information on how we store customer data, please visit Privacy Policy for our data privacy policy.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any products through Buymie. By accessing our site and placing an order you agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, terms of use policy and Privacy Policy. "You", "your" and"Customer" refers to the person using our Platform to place an order.

If you have any questions relating to these terms and conditions please contact before you place an order. If you do not accept these terms and conditions in full please do not use our Platform.

1. INFORMATION ABOUT US is a website operated by Buymie Technologies UnLimited ("we" or "us" or "Buymie"), incorporated and registered in Ireland, whose registered office is at 46- 50 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, Ireland. Our Company registration number is 567895. Our VAT number is IE3383041JH.


Buymie is a mobile communication platform which facilitates the connection between individuals ("Customer[s]") seeking to order food, beverage, home essential products and other items ("Products") from selected retail stores ("Supported Store[s]"), and individuals seeking to assist Customers by picking and delivering the Products to and on behalf of Customers who have authorised the purchase of such Products ("Personal Shoppers[s]") (such service provided by Personal Shoppers to be hereinafter referred to as "Personal Shopper Service").

Customer acknowledges and agrees that the Personal Shopper acts as the agent of the Customer in carrying out the Personal Shopper Service, and that Buymie has no relationship with Customer other than to provide the communication platform between Personal Shoppers and Customers. Buymie does not have control over the quality, timing, legality, failure to provide or any other aspect whatsoever of the Personal Shopper Service.


Buymie facilitates an ordering, retrieving and delivery Platform from certain stores throughout locations in Ireland. Based on your geographic location our fulfilment engine will connect you to the closest store within your postcode and with a Personal Shopper. If you live outside the delivery areas, a message will appear on screen notifying you that ordering will not be possible. We do not accept orders from individuals in a postcode in which we do not have at least one store supported by our platform ("Supported Store[s]"). Operating hours will vary depending on local trading conditions and the availability of our Supported Stores.


When you place an order through our Platform, an email and push notification will be sent to you by Buymie on behalf of the Personal Shopper on your mobile device, thanking you for your order and confirming your order has been received and accepted by the Personal Shopper (the "Confirmation Email/Message"). Please note this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer made by you to buy a product. The contract will only be accepted and formed when the goods have been delivered to you.

Please ensure that you have given us a correct email address as this is how we will communicate with you about your Order. Please also ensure that you provide an accurate address and telephone number to ensure that your order arrive to the correct location. If you do not open the door or answer your phone within 15 minutes of our Personal Shopper reaching your address, we reserve the right to leave the premises, and you will be charged a cancellation fee of €15.

Buymie seeks to provide a quality Platform and will be the first contact in the event there is a problem with your order, including in regards to food quality, or unavailable products. You are entitled to receive the food, beverage, home essential products and other Products that you have ordered (subject to availability), provided that, where you have selected the "Shopper substitute for me" option in your “Substitution preferences”, you agree that the Personal Shopper may use their discretion to pick and purchase substitute products in place of any products which are unavailable in-store ("Substitute Products").

You acknowledge and agree that such Substitute Product(s) may be more or less expensive than the product(s) which is/are unavailable in-store. If you have selected the "Shopper contact me" option in your “Substitution preferences”, the Personal Shopper will attempt to contact you by telephone to agree a Substitute Product with you. In this scenario, if the Personal Shopper is unable to make contact with you, the product will be removed from your shopping list. If you have selected the "Shopper substitute for me" option but your selected product or a Substitute Product is not available, the selected product will be removed from your shopping list. It is of utmost importance to us that they comply with our standards and help us to maintain our quality of service. All orders made by you are subject to stock availability. Buymie reserves the right to cancel, amend or reject your order in whole or in part, at any time and without liability or compensation, where any product is out of stock, damaged or spoilt, or unavailable for any other reason. When an order for any product(s) is rejected or cancelled by Buymie, any payment made for such order shall be reversed or refunded by Buymie in accordance with our prevailing refund policy at such time.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same debit/credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address.

We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your contact telephone number (mobile and/or landline), email address and debit/credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.


Buymie cannot guarantee that any of the food items sold by Supported Stores are free of allergens. Supported Stores and their suppliers are exclusively responsible for all information regarding the contents of products, including (but not limited to) food labelling information and information regarding allergens. It is your responsibility to review the allergen notice on each product.


A person receiving a delivery containing alcohol or other restricted items must be over 18. It is your responsibility to ensure that a suitable person is at the delivery point to receive the order. If the person receiving delivery of alcohol or other restricted item looks under 23, we will request identification. We may retain alcohol or other restricted products if proof of age is not adequate and there is no alternative person to receive the delivery. In cases where we need to return alcohol products not due to your failure to comply with our policy on sale and delivery of alcohol products, we reserve the right to charge a return fee.

Buymie reserves the right to prevent customers from being able to choose alcoholic products and same day delivery, or postpone the delivery (e.g. the next day) until those hours when sale of alcohol is permitted by law.


Our aim is to facilitate the best and convenient delivery Platform between you and the Personal Shopper and we will do our best to ensure that your order is delivered within the delivery slot you paid for. While it is our priority to deliver your goods within your chosen slot, any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are subject to potential delays resulting from, for example, adverse weather conditions or other events outside of our reasonable control for which we will not be responsible.


You have a statutory right to cancel your contract with us (whether in full or in respect of an individual item or items) at any time, for any reason, until the expiry of the 14th day after the date of delivery. This does not extend to goods which are liable to expire or deteriorate rapidly (perishable goods), or goods which have been unsealed and are unsuitable for return for health protection and hygiene reasons. On the exercise of this right, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of your cancellation and we will outline further steps for you to take. Please note that we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you supply evidence that you have sent the goods back.

You will be responsible for any extra cost incurred or risk in returning products. You are obliged to take reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession and you will be responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods beyond that necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.


All Products purchased through our Platform are subject to availability. All individual item prices displayed in the app, are estimated, as price differences can occur when the in store price is higher or lower than the price listed on the Platform, and/or if a Substitute Product commands a higher or lower price, so your cart total is an estimated amount only. Individual item prices displayed are exclusive of a buymie service fee. We apply a delivery fee, platform fee, and in certain circumstances, a small basket fee.

A pre-authorised hold will be placed on your payment card for the estimated order value plus a little extra to cover any price difference.

After the delivery of the order, the final order value will be charged to your payment card and any difference in amount from the pre-authorised hold will be released back to your payment card. Depending on the bank, it can take 3-5 business days for the pre-authorised hold to be released.

If the final order value is greater than the pre-authorised hold on your account, your payment card will be charged a second time for the remaining amount. Your final order value will be confirmed to you upon delivery, when the Personal Shopper has completed payment for your order in-store, and your payment card will be charged with the final amount.

A receipt for your order will be provided through the Delivery Confirmation email as well as in the “My Orders” section of the Buymie app. Payment is made directly to Buymie to cover the cost of the Products purchased, as well as the Buymie service and delivery fees. We accept payment for orders by Visa and Mastercard, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

Buymie’s minimum basket size is €30. A €3 small basket fee will apply for basket sizes between €30 to €40 on all orders for all users.

Any outstanding balance on the Customer’s account must be paid before placing a new order. Outstanding Balance charges will not be refunded if an order is cancelled.

Buymie endeavours to provide you with accurate and up-to-date pricing, product and promotional information. However, we do not guarantee that the pricing, images or other product or promotional information provided will be error-free, updated or complete. Buymie shall not be liable for any errors in the pricing and product or promotional information listed on our Platform.

We strive to ensure accuracy within invoices and receipts however, due to human errors during the personal shopping process, pricing discrepancies may occur. A pricing error is any mistake in the listed price of the service, including but not limited to typographical errors, incorrect discounts, or mislabeling. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors on our website at any time without prior notice.

For orders already processed and received at an incorrect price, we may, at our discretion: refund the difference where an overcharge has occured, collect the remaining funds where an undercharge has occured or honor the incorrect price.

By confirming your purchase, you authorise Buymie to charge you. If you elect to cancel the purchase or remove items from your basket, we will refund you for the order or such items as you remove in accordance with our prevailing refund policy at such time and you may be subject to a cancellation fee of €15 after your order has been accepted by a Personal Shopper.

Where the actual price of any product is dependent on its weight ("Weighed Item"), we will provide an estimate of the price based on indicated weight and our current prevailing rates at the time of checkout. The actual weight and related price of the Weighed Item will be made known to you at the time of delivery.

By placing your order, you authorise Buymie to transmit information or to obtain information about you from third parties from time to time and this may include verification checks involving your debit or credit card number or credit reports in order to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorization, to protect you and us from fraud, and to enable us to arrange delivery of your order to your nominated delivery address. Where information is not matching or concerns are raised, additional measures may be taken to confirm your identity.


Free trial eligibility is determined by Buymie at its sole discretion and we may limit eligibility or duration to prevent free trial abuse. We reserve the right to revoke the free trial and put your account on hold in the event that we determine that you are not eligible.

We will charge the membership fee for the next billing cycle to your Payment Method at the end of the free trial period unless you cancel your membership prior to the end of the free trial period.

The Buymie Plus fee will be charged to your Payment Method on the specific billing date. The length of your billing cycle will depend on the type of subscription that you choose when you sign-up for the service. In some cases, your payment date may change, for example, if your Payment Method has not successfully settled or if your paid membership began on a day not contained in a given month.

We may change our subscription plans and the price of our service from time to time; however, any price changes or changes to your subscription plans will apply to subsequent billing cycles following notice of the change(s) to you.

The delivery fee for buymie Plus members is waived for orders where the cost of Products is €40 or above; a delivery fee will apply for orders below €40.

You can cancel your Buymie Plus monthly membership at any time, and you will continue to have access to Buymie Plus service through the end of your billing period. You may cancel your buymie plus membership within the first 14 days of your paid membership and receive a refund of the membership fee, but only if you have not placed any orders using your paid buymie plus membership.

To cancel, go to the "Account" page and follow the instructions for cancellation.


At this time, the buymie app is not configured to accept Dunnes Stores VALUEclub cards, VALUEclub vouchers or Shop and Save vouchers earned in store.

The good news is that in the meantime, the “Express Delivery Service” available through the Dunnes Stores App is configured to accept Dunnes Stores VALUEclub cards, VALUEclub voucher and Shop and Save vouchers earned in-store and available in your Dunnes Stores App, such as the €10 off €50 or the €5 off €25.

How do I apply vouchers?

1. Shop with Dunnes Stores through the buymie app within 14 days.

2. Ensure your grocery total is over €50, €100 or €150 (after product exclusions) to apply €10, €20 or €30 in vouchers respectively.

3. Your voucher(s) will be available for you to apply at checkout.

Some exclusions apply and are listed below. Your voucher will be valid for 14 days and will be applied automatically at the checkout of your next Dunnes Stores order through buymie, where your groceries cost more than €50 after exclusions. Promotional Buymie vouchers are subject to limited validity as outlined in offers. Buymie vouchers include both those offers auto-applied to a user’s account and physical voucher codes that are required to be applied by the user during checkout.

Only Buymie vouchers promoted or specified as “stackable” (ie usable in conjunction with other vouchers at checkouts) can be used in conjunction with other vouchers at checkout.

Buymie vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash in part or full and are valid for a single transaction only unless specifically outlined.

Buymie retains the right to reject any Buymie voucher that has been duplicated or redeemed outside the promotional channels or shared with other users without Buymie prior consent.

Buymie Vouchers and/or promo code are valid for one use per household only.

Product Exclusions

Vouchers cannot be earned by purchasing any of the following excluded goods: Clothing, footwear, homewares, café, alcohol products, tobacco products, lottery tickets, newspapers, medicines, gift cards, infant milk formula, Deposit Return Scheme deposit fees, mobile top-up and checkout bags. Other products and ranges may be excluded at any time and without prior notice and such changes will be at the discretion of buymie, Dunnes Stores or as directed by Irish or EU legislation


To the extent permitted by law, Buymie provides the Platform and content on an "as-is" and "as available" basis and we make no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding the content or availability of the Platform, or that it will be timely or error-free or that defects will be corrected. Subject as provided below, neither Buymie nor any Supported Store shall have any liability to you for any direct, indirect, special or consequential losses or damages arising in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise arising from your use of or your inability to use the Platform. In the event that Buymie or the Supported Store is found to be liable to you, our total aggregate liability is limited to the purchase price of the order you have paid for in your order. This does not include or limit in any way Buymie's or any Supported Store's liability for any matter for which it would be illegal for us or it to exclude.

You agree that Buymie is not responsible for the fitness or conduct of any Personal Shopper and will not be liable for any claim, injury or damage arising in connection with the acts or omissions of any Personal Shopper. In the event you have a dispute with one or more Personal Shoppers, you hereby release Buymie from any and all claims, liabilities, costs, including without limitation legal fees, loss or damage of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.

Due to the nature of this Platform and the potential for errors in the storage and transmission of digital information, we do not warrant the accuracy and security of information transmitted to or obtained from this Platform unless otherwise expressly set out on this Platform.

All product descriptions, information and materials posted on this Platform are provided “as is” and without warranties express, implied or otherwise howsoever arising.

You acknowledge and accept that Personal Shoppers do not use temperature controlled vans when transporting food from store to the delivery location, and that while they use insulated carrier bags to extend the chill chain beyond that of a regular customer purchasing chilled goods, Buymie does not accept any liability arising from the purchase and use of chilled produce by a customer.

Nothing in this Clause will affect your statutory rights as a consumer or your Contract cancellation rights.


Any products ordered will be at your risk from the time of delivery. Ownership of the products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the products, including delivery charges, or upon delivery, whichever is later.


If any of these Terms or any provisions of a contract are determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term, condition or provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.


Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications we send to you should be in writing. When using our Platform, you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic. You agree that e-mail can be used as a long-distance means of communication.

Buymie will contact you by email or provide you with information by posting notices on our website. For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.


If you breach these Terms and Conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these Terms and Conditions. Any waiver of any provision of the Terms and Conditions will be effective only if in writing and signed by a Director of Dunnes Stores.


Buymie reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions of use at any time by amending this page. If you do not agree with any parts of the amended terms of use, please do not access or use our Platform, services and/or content. Your continued use of or access to our Platform following the posting of any amended terms of use constitutes acceptance of those terms of use.


These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ireland and any claim arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Ireland.

20. Buymie Referral Program

To participate in the Program, Referrers shouldvisit the referral menu within their Buymie app and follow the on-screen instructions to refer up to 5 friends or colleagues to the program.

Individuals who receive a referral via a Referrer are "Friends" (or, singly, a “Friend”). An "Eligible"Referrer who is fully compliant with these Terms and Conditions may receive "Reward(s)" for every "Qualified Referral”.

20. A. Eligible Referrer

To be "Eligible," a Referrer must:

Be a legal resident of The Republic of Ireland orThe UK; and

Be at least 18 years old.

20. B. Making a Referral

A Referrer must register for an account with Buymie and complete at least one order.

Referrers must respect the spirit of the Program by only referring real individuals who meet the requirements of these Terms and Conditions. Referrers cannot refer themselves. For example, a Referrer may not create multiple or fake accounts with Buymie or participate in the Program using multiple or fake email addresses or identities.

A Referrer may not refer friends or family members living within the same eircode/postal code as themselves. A Referrer may not refer a friend or colleague that is an existing customer of Buymie.

20. C. Qualified Referrals

A “Qualified Referral” means that all the following conditions are met:

The Friend registered an account with Buymie and entered the Referrer’s Referral code granting them a reward in the form of Buymie Bouns Credit and in a value chosen by Buymie. The Friend then completed their first purchase with Buymie and had their Products delivered by our personal shopper.

If a Friend purchases from or registers with Buymie without applying the Referrer’s Referral code, the registration will not count as a Qualified Referral and the Referrer will not earn Credit;

The Friend had not previously made a purchase with Buymie under any email address or alias;

The Friend is a) a legal resident of the Republic of Ireland or the UK b) at least 18 years old.

20. D. Earning Rewards

Referrer shall receive one (1) reward (each, a“Reward”) in the form of Buymie Bouns Credit and in a value determined by Buymie for each verified Qualified Referral generated by Referrer. 

Buymie Bouns Credit will be automatically redeemed when making an order via Buymie. 

20. E. Verified Qualified Referrals

Rewards are subject to verification. Buymie may delay a Reward for the purposes of investigation. Buymie may also refuse to verify and process any transaction Buymie deems, in its sole discretion, to be fraudulent, suspicious, in violation of these Terms and Conditions, or believes will impose potential liability on Buymie, its subsidiaries, affiliates or any of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents. All of Buymie’s decisions are final and binding, including decisions as to whethera Qualified Referral, or Reward is verified.

20. F. Transferand Value of Credit and Rewards

Buymie Bouns Credit has no monetary value and may not be redeemed for cash. Credit is not transferable and may not be auctioned, traded, bartered or sold. Upon termination of the referral program or any portion thereof for any reason, any unredeemed Bonus Credit that has not yet been delivered to a Referrer are forfeited.

21. Deposit Return Scheme

From 1st February 2024, all Irish retailers will be required to charge a small deposit on bottles and cans that feature the Re-turn logo.

The deposit amount depends on the size of the container:

€0.15 per 150ml – 500 ml container

€0.25 per 500ml - 3 litre container

Customers can then return their empty, clean and undamaged containers to an in-store reverse vending machine and get this deposit back as a voucher. This voucher can then be redeemed for cash at the till or used towards your grocery shopping in-store.

If you choose a grocery product to purchase that does not have the Deposit Return Scheme charge and it is substituted for a product with a Deposit Return Scheme charge, you will be required to pay this charge. This means your final payment total will be higher than your original basket total.

22. Surveys

Occasionally, buymie may invite you to take part in a customer survey. Where an incentive or prize is offered the following terms will be in effect.

- Prizes will have a limited availability.

- The monetary voucher or gift cannot be exchanged or refund for cash.

- Fake or duplicate responses will be excluded from prize draws.

- If asked, you must provide an email address matching your buymie account to verify your submission.

23. Zero-Tolerance Policy for Verbal or Written Abuse

We are committed to maintaining a respectful, safe, and professional environment for all our staff, contractors, and customers. To ensure this, we have implemented a strict zero-tolerance policy for any form of verbal or written abuse directed at our team members. By using our services, you agree to adhere to the following terms regarding respectful conduct.

Verbal or Written abuse includes, but is not limited to:

  • Threatening, intimidating, or aggressive language.
  • Insults, slurs, or derogatory comments.
  • Harassment, whether repeated or a single instance.
  • Yelling, shouting, or other forms of hostile communication.

This policy applies to all interactions between customers and our staff or contractors, including but not limited to:

  • In-person interactions.
  • Telephone conversations.
  • Written communication, including emails, text messages, live chats and social media interactions.
  • Virtual meetings or video conferences.

Staff and contractors are instructed to report any instance of verbal abuse immediately to their supervisors or through designated channels. Customers witnessing or experiencing such behavior are also encouraged to report it to us via

Any customer found to have engaged in abuse will face consequences, which may include, but are not limited to:

  • Immediate termination of service.
  • Temporary or permanent suspension from using our services.
